*More About Shantel Hinnen*

I am a strengths-based, trauma-informed clinician with experience treating anxiety, depression, traumatic grief, and perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. I have experience working with clients across the lifespan. My practice is focused on offering a compassionate and empathetic presence creating the environment for collaborative exploration and change.

*What to Expect From Our Work Together*

Genuine connection and strong rapport is the foundation of successful therapy, so you can expect our sessions to feel authentic and human. I believe that you are the expert of your own experience and my role is to help you navigate the therapeutic journey offering tools and feedback along the way. You can expect to spend time not just talking about emotions but experiencing them. I hope you walk away from our time expanding your ability to attune to and be mindful of your experience personally and relationally.

*What you Need to Know About Me*

I was born in Phoenix, Arizona. I completed my bachelor's degree in Communication and Theology at Grand Canyon University and my master's degree in Social Work at Arizona State University. I am a coffee nerd, enjoy paddleboarding, and love to travel.
